PROJECT CIVITAS
We shape future leaders through intercultural dialogues and entrepreneurship training.
Founded in May 2022, Civitas consists of two programs: Global Classroom and China Innovation Lab.
「Civitas Global Classroom」 provides an elaborate curriculum around intercultural awareness for student worldwide aged between 15 and 24. The curriculum consists of lectures, discussion sessions (seminars), and Civitas’ unique Global Coffeehouse sessions. Participants not only broaden their knowledge about various regions, pressing global issues, and cultural experiences, but also deepen their bonds with mentors and peers in Civitas’ diverse and supportive community.
「Civitas China Innovation Lab」 is an incubator for social impact ventures led by high school and college students in China. The Lab pioneers in exploring the unique path to student entrepreneurship in China, as a result of China’s educational, cultural, economic and social reality. Civitas Innovation Lab offers a comprehensive course to entrepreneurship, supplemented by 1v1 mentorship sessions led by experienced and high-achieving professionals. The Innovation Lab ends with a Demo Day with seed fundings provided to teams with best performance. More information can be found in the Chinese version of this website.
